WithĀ the included epoxy and tints, your studentsā creativity will shine when you watch them master ocean foam cells forming in the epoxy for the first time! The included instructions help you walk your class through the process, making it easy and fun. If they donāt like their results, let the boards dry and try the process again on top. Best of all, TotalBoat MakerPoxy by Jess Crow is low odor and low VOC, with no harsh fumes, making this a class-friendly activity with a finished board thatās safe for serving (do not cut on the cured epoxy because it can chip). These serving boards make great gifts that everyone will love! Students will line up to take a class to learn how to master this fun resin trend!
Kit Includes:
- 1 ā Gallon Kit TotalBoat MakerPoxy by Jess Crow Epoxy Resin (1/2 gal.) and Hardener (1/2 gal.)
- 12 ā Wooden serving boards (Size: 13.5ā³ x 7.5ā³)
- 1 ā TotalBoat instructorās apron
- 30 ā 8 oz. plastic mixing cups
- 100 ā Small wooden stir sticks
- 200 ā 2 oz.Ā disposable beakers
- 3 ā 10/pks Black Diamondā¢ mica powder pigment packets (5g/pk) ā Colors: Deep Sea Blue, Iridescent Blue, Emerald Green, Green Envy, Pure Pearl White, Silver Pearl, Pure Gold, Purple Haze, Imperial Red/Pink

You Will Also Need (not included in kit):
- Plastic sheeting or a silicone mat to protect each studentās work surface
- Heat gun for removing any small bubbles and for moving the epoxy around on the board to create your design
- A knife or razor blade
- 90-99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle
- A scraper
- Cutting board oil
- NOTE: If you use MakerPoxy often, our MakerPoxy Metering Pump Dispenser makes it easy to get the exact 1:1 ratio every time, whether you need just a little MakerPoxy ā or a lot!
Personal Safety
Be sure to work in a well-ventilated area and be sure you and your students wear appropriate personal protection when working with epoxy resin and hardener. Personal protection includes proper gloves, respirator, and eye, face, skin, and clothing protection. Be safe, and have fun! IMPORTANT: We do not recommend cutting on the finished serving board because the epoxy can chip, and chips of epoxy are harmful.
