What products are warrantied?
Most items can be returned within 30 days. Items must be returned in original , unused packaging. Defective parts will be sent to manufacturer for testing and verification.
Like other retailers of branded products, GreatParts does not offer any product warranty of our own--we honor the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the product. If you have a problem with a part during the warranty period, please submit a warranty claim through our Order Status & Returns page.
The summary below does not include all the terms and limitations of each manufacturer's warranty, and manufacturers may change their warranty terms without notice (to you or to us). For warranty details, please visit the manufacturer's website.
Warranties apply only to the original purchaser of the part, and to the vehicle for which it was listed in our catalog and on which the part was originally installed.
Terms listed apply only for parts used on a private passenger vehicle; warranties for cargo, commercial or off-road vehicles may be more limited.
Warranties offer only replacement of the defective part with another part: no cash refunds and no reimbursement of labor costs, shipping costs or other expenses.
Replacement under warranty does not extend the warranty term. Warranties begin upon delivery.
Wholesaler Closeout items have a 30 day warranty (but still are covered by our Return Policy).

Conditions
Some merchandise, including opened gaskets and ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC GOODS are non-refundable. Third party or other outsourced merchandise, including certain Special Order, Commercial Tools and equipment are all subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Clearance and "AS IS" merchandise are non-refundable.
GreatParts reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges at any time, for any reason. GreatParts reserves the right to require a valid photo ID that will be recorded at the time of return. Applicable information from your ID will be retained, subject to applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, in a company-wide database of customer return activity that Advance Auto Parts and its affiliates use to authorize returns.
Core Returns
All Core returns need to be for the exact part purchased, in original packaging and in fully rebuildable, undamaged, condition Credit WILL NOT be applied until the part is received. Fluids must always be drained. Please refer to our Core Charge Policy for more information.
Warranty Returns
The warranty period is 45 days from your date of purchase or any longer warranty period that may be printed on your original sales receipt. Please refer to our Limited Warranty Policy for specific details.
