The Edelbrock Victor Junior Intake Manifold provides maximum performance for engines with standard port location, iron and aluminum cylinder heads. These versatile manifolds are excellent for many applications from high-performance street to drag and circle track racing. It is ideal for oval track and drag racing engines operating between 3, 500 and 7, 500 RPM. The intake manifold directs the air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head. The flow typically proceeds from the throttle body into a chamber called the plenum, which in turn feeds individual tubes, called runners, leading to each intake port. The runners have a 2. 70 square-inch cross sectional area. The height of the intake manifold is 5. 750.
