Permatex PermaSorb Multi-Purpose Cellulose Absorbent cleans up spills effectively without harming the environment. It is a wood cellulose fiber obtained from the paper making process. This product contains no chemicals hence, all natural unlike other absorbents that contain silica dust, which can be a respiratory hazard for users. PermaSorb absorbent is lightweight which makes it easy to apply. It is several times more absorbent than clay litters typically used to clean up spills, making it comparable on a cost per use basis. Unlike clay, this absorbent begins absorbing on contact promoting faster spill containment and clean up. Having passed the rigorous standards of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) testing, when disposed in a landfill, PermaSorb will not result in absorbed contaminants leaching into the soil.
