These driers are used with A/C systems that utilize a Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) to control refrigerant flow. The receiver-drier acts as a storage tank for liquid refrigerant exiting the condenser. GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE).
