"Fuel Economy" engine oil is especially designed for FORD and OEMs requiring low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity oil between 2,9 and 3,5 mPa.s mainly including Ford, Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Land Rover. This is suitable for new technology engines powered with turbo diesel or gasoline injection engines and catalytic converters, requiring fuel economy lubricants ( ACEA A1/B1 standards ). This 100 percent synthetic engine oil was formulated, developed and tested according to the most recent technical requirements of petrol and diesel engines. The new performance ACEA A1/B1 requests fuel economy and low emission performance. Motul specific FORD 913B - 5W-30 provides an outstanding oil film resistance, reducing friction in the engine, maintaining the oil pressure, and generally decreasing the operating temperature. It provides outstanding lubricating properties such as wear resistance, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and controlled oil consumption. It also has anti-wear, anti-corrosion and anti-foam properties.

This oil has a weight of SAE 5W-30, meaning it has an SAE viscosity rating of 5 in cold temperatures and a rating of 30 at normal operating temperature. Always check your vehicle's owner's manual to verify that this is the correct weight of motor oil for your vehicle.
Full Synthetic Oil
This oil is a full synthetic oil, meaning crude oil is not used in making it. Synthetic oil can be used in vehicle engines instead of motor oils refined from crude oil, and often provides superior mechanical performance over traditional motor oil, including increased gas mileage and reduced engine wear at extreme temperatures. Its complex method of production means it can often cost more than conventional motor oil.
