GM Genuine Parts A/C Evaporator Core Kits are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. These kits contain an evaporator and related system components. The evaporator is a heat exchanger located in the HVAC housing, where it cools and dehumidifies the cabin air. Refrigerant is metered into the evaporator by the orifice tube or expansion valve. GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE).
